💵 Pricing & payment
How much does Loadgency cost?
One simple, honest fee — the greater of 10% of your shipment price or a $50 minimum — and that's the only money Loadgency ever makes. It's the same flat fee no matter what you're moving: a sedan, an enclosed classic, a motorcycle, a boat, an RV, or a skid-steer.
A few examples: on a $900 car it's $90 · on a $1,800 enclosed classic it's $180 · on a $400 motorcycle move it's the $50 minimum · on a $2,400 heavy-equipment load it's $240. That's it — no required membership, no processing fee, no fuel surcharge, no "listing" charge, and nothing buried in the rate.
Compare that to a traditional broker, who quietly keeps $500–800+ per car (often 20–40% of what you paid) — money you never see. With us, the full price you set goes to the driver, and our small fee is shown to you before you ever commit.
When and how do I pay?
You add a card on file when you post — but nothing is charged until a verified carrier claims your load. The moment one does, we charge your card our flat fee only (the greater of $50 or 10%). If no carrier claims it, you're never charged; if a claimed carrier falls through before pickup, that fee is reversed.
The shipment price itself is paid directly to the carrier on delivery (COD) — cash, Zelle, or however you and the driver arrange — and Loadgency never touches that money. So $0 is due up front, and our fee and the driver's pay stay two clean, separate flows.
Do you ever hold my money, or the driver's?
No — and this is the core of how we're built. We never hold the shipment payment. You pay the driver their full price directly on delivery. The only thing we ever charge is our own flat fee, to your card, at the moment a carrier claims. Because we're never sitting on anyone's money, there's no deposit to fight over, no slow-pay, and no broker who can go under owing the carrier.
I ship a lot — can I pay on terms instead of every delivery?
Yes. Business and Corporate accounts can pay on a schedule — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly — so it's one clean payment instead of a hundred. When someone pays later, a small "waiting fee" compensates whoever waited for their money (usually the carrier), and it goes to them, never to us. Personal accounts stay simple: pay on delivery, done.
Do I need a paid load-board membership?
No — you're free to start and pay per load. There's no required subscription just to see or post loads (unlike the boards that force a monthly fee before you can do anything). If you move real volume, optional plans can save you money — but they're never forced.
How many carriers will actually see my load?
A lot. Post once and your load is auto-distributed to every major auto-transport and freight network carriers actually use — plus your own Loadgency board. That's tens of thousands of vetted, insured car haulers seeing it, day one, instead of the one board most brokers post to. As Loadgency's own network grows, more of those carriers claim directly here — but you always get the full reach from the start.
📦 What you can ship
What can I ship?
Just about any vehicle that rides on a trailer: cars, trucks & SUVs (open or enclosed), classics & exotics, motorcycles, jet skis, ATVs & powersports, boats, RVs & campers, heavy equipment (skid-steers, tractors, machinery on lowboy or step-deck), driveaway units, and local & tow jobs. Not sure yours fits? Post it or ask — odds are we move it.
What about a short, local move?
We're built for real hauls, not $40 cross-town errands — our flat fee is a bargain on a long move but overkill on a quick local one. So for very short moves we'll tell you straight up: a same-day courier, local tow, or a hotshot service will usually beat us on price. We'd rather point you to the right option than take a job that isn't fair to you.
🛡️ Protection, insurance & claims
Is my shipment protected and documented?
Every shipment gets a digital Bill of Lading plus timestamped inspection photos at both pickup and delivery — for a car, a boat, a motorcycle, or a machine. That paperwork is your proof of condition and the record that settles any claim quickly. It's automatic on every load.
How is my vehicle insured?
Every carrier we assign must carry active cargo insurance, which we verify before they're dispatched. Your BOL and inspection photos back any claim against that coverage. (Insured amounts vary by carrier and load type — you'll see the coverage on file.)
What if something arrives damaged?
Rare — but here's exactly how it works: your before/after inspection photos and signed BOL make the condition undeniable, and the claim goes against the assigned carrier's cargo insurance.
For cars on open transport, normal road exposure (dust, weather, the occasional small rock) is an accepted risk and isn't carrier-caused damage — choose enclosed if you want zero road exposure. Damage from a carrier's negligence, improper securement, or mishandling is always the carrier's responsibility.
What if the driver is late, or a truck breaks down?
Every lane has a built-in buffer window (about 2 days short-haul, 3–5 cross-country). Inside it, no penalty — that's normal. Past it with no valid reason, a small daily credit goes back to you, from carrier pay, never to us. Documented breakdowns, weather, and acts of God pause the clock. And if a driver no-shows and wastes a scheduled pickup, our dry-run protection makes sure the right party is made whole.
🚚 Carriers & staying in control
Are your carriers legit?
Yes. Before a carrier is assigned, we verify active FMCSA operating authority (MC/DOT) and current cargo insurance — no ghost carriers, no double-brokering. You'll even see a profile of the assigned driver and their rating before pickup.
How do you stop double-brokering and fake carriers?
Three structural layers. First,
every carrier is verified for active MC/DOT and insurance
before they can even see a load. Second,
the carrier who claims it is the carrier who hauls it — their agreement forbids re-brokering. Third,
verified handoff: before pickup you're shown the exact truck, trailer, DOT markings, and driver to expect, with one instruction — if what shows up doesn't match, don't release your load. It's not fraud we chase after the fact; it's a board the fake MC numbers can't get into. (

Can I track my shipment?
Yes. Once a carrier claims your load, you get a live status feed — Posted → Claimed → Picked up → In transit → Delivered — with pickup and delivery photos attached at each step.
Found a carrier I love — can I keep using them?
Absolutely, and this is where we're different: save your hauler, request them again, or connect and work directly. We don't hide our carriers or block you from going direct — no non-circumvention traps. The relationship is yours to keep.
I'm a carrier — what's in it for me to run with Loadgency?
Two things no other broker gives you. 1) You're paid your full price, COD, the day you deliver — no Net-30, no chasing money, no factoring just to make payroll. 2) It's yours. Any customer you win is yours to keep — change carriers or go owner-operator and nothing changes. We don't trap you, block you, or hide the shipper from you — no non-circumvention.
🏢 Businesses, dealers & fleets
I move real volume — what do I get?
Business and Corporate accounts get bulk posting, one dashboard to track everything, optional payment terms (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly), and consolidated billing. Dealers, auctions, fleets, and repo lots all run on the same transparent flat fee — no volume games, no forced membership.
🤝 About Loadgency
Are you actually licensed?
Loadgency is a service of Haulgency LLC. We're completing our FMCSA property-broker authority (US DOT/MC) and posting the required $75,000 BMC-84 surety bond ahead of our 2026 launch. We arrange transportation with authorized, insured motor carriers; we are not a carrier and never take possession of your load. Authority numbers are published here the moment they're granted.
How is Loadgency different from a normal broker?
Three ways: you set the price (we never quote it or mark it up), you pay the driver directly (we never hold your money), and you keep your carrier (we don't hide them or block you from going direct). One honest, visible fee — everyone in the light, nobody in the middle of your money.
